Still good and we still like kiss kiss the best. Black dragon roll and golden roll were underwhelming.
Our table had 2 different ramen and the dragon roll. I had the pork ramen with the spicy pork broth with kimchi add-on. Delicious. I only ate 1/2 of my egg. Texture issue. Ha. The other ramen was spicy chicken. It too was very good. The dragon roll was gone in a flash. Really good. Service is prompt and our server was very nice. I like to ask what their favorite item is. She likes the spicy pork, so I got it. Ambiance is a little eclectic. We guessed that on weekend nights they might be busy due to the size of the bar. Well worth the drive. Check it out. Sorry no pictures. We were chatting and forgot.
Japanese chicken fried rice was tasty, the sushi rolls were good but nothing amazing. Ambiance and staff were welcoming and friendly definitely recommend this place.
I come here every Friday for lunch, perks of working close. I look forward to the helpful smiles of all the staff memebers! Coming here every week the serves actually remember you and already know what you're going to order. The food is amazing, best fried rice in town (beef of course) if you come here ask for Jason. He's the best
In my opinion the Des Moines Area offers some of the best sushi restaurants that serve other creative dishes beyond sushi. I ordered chicken fried rice, miso soup and a lemonade Mocktail. Each were served with an aim to please in a quiet food nurturing environment. My waiter who was also the bartender offered me some friendly choices for a very tasty lemonade forward Mocktail.
